Position Summary: The objective of the Project Manager is to manage key client projects is directly responsible for the financial and operational success of projects and be driven, motivated, and dedicated to providing superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This individual will work collaboratively with clients and team members to ensure projects are executed and completed to the highest level of satisfaction for the organization and our client. The Project Manager has the bottom-line responsibility for project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring safety and quality compliance throughout the project.  A successful project manager will collaborate with teams to develop and deliver on project scopes and schedules to achieve our client’s objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage all project stakeholder relationships with the overall responsibility of successful initiation, planning, scheduling, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a projects
  • Project Status reporting for both internal and external stakeholders and document all aspects of individual projects.
  • Completion of projects on time and within budget and scope
  • Responsible for managing the project schedule, establishing a budget, and controlling costs.
  • Establish and maintain contact with subcontractors to ensure a smooth contract awarding process.
  • Conduct/lead Project Meetings
  • Responsible for creating project-specific controls, monitoring, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including Wearing proper and necessary PPE when necessary
  • Assist with special projects or tasks as needed to support the overall organization's objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of projects.

 

Performance Expectations/KPIs:

  • Project Execution:
    • Project Completion: Percentage of projects completed on time.
    • Project Budget Adherence: Percentage of projects completed within the allocated budget.
    • Change Orders: Number or percentage of change orders relative to the initial scope.
  • Quality Metrics:
    • Rework Percentage: Amount of work that had to be redone or fixed, expressed as a percentage of total work.
  • Financial Management:
    • Cost Variance (CV): The difference between the budgeted cost of work performed and the actual cost.
  • Stakeholder and Client Satisfaction:
    • Client Satisfaction Score: Based on post-project surveys or feedback forms.
  • Communication Effectiveness:
    • Documentation Timeliness: Project documentation (kickoff email, safety reports, progress reports, etc.) accuracy
  • Supplier and Contract Management:
    • Contract Adherence: Percentage of contracts that were adhered to without disputes or breaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or a related field
  • PMP Certificate preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Technical expertise – Microsoft Office or other project management software
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Maintain staff confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, to produce correspondence and documents and maintain records, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Working knowledge of email, scheduling, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to relate to customer requests and needs
