This position is vital in ensuring our patients receive the best care possible in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor computer-based testing for children with ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems.
- Assist providers with diagnostics and interventions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and test results.
- Phlebotomy and DNA sample collection.
- Assist with medication refills and prior authorizations.
- Support the clinical team with various tasks, including setting up and maintaining medical equipment.
- Coordinate with local schools and primary care physicians.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to children and their families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with a valid certification.
- Experience working with children in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with technology and computer-based documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
