Journeyman Plumber

Local mechanical contractor in Knoxville, TN is searching for a FULL TIME experienced plumber with, at the minimum, the following capabilities:

· Ability to work in a large operational hospital with multiple buildings

· Must be able to perform small construction installations, remodel work, as well as service work

· Must be able to diagnose problems, assist in scheduling the appropriate course of action in accordance with the hospital’s needs for both patients and staff, correctly procuring appropriate hospital permits and successfully performing the work in compliance with the hospital’s requirements/protocol

· Must be available 24/7 to address urgent hospital issues

· Have a good understanding of all hand tools, hand sewer augers, pro press tools, tapping tools, etc.

· Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and documentation in compliance with quality standards of the contractor and the hospital

· Ability to work with various owner departments and numerous people

· Ability to maintain training and appropriate documentation as required by the hospital for security/badging requirements on an ongoing basis

Various certifications such as Confined Space, Med Gas, Scissor Lift, OSHA 10, Safety training, etc. would be a plus.
