Job Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior plans that are created by our Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • When going into homes work with our clients in a compassionate manner
  • When in a school setting follow the curriculum given by the teacher.
  • Collaborate and engage with the behavior analyst to get specific feedback on teaching strategies and reducing behavior.
  • Collect data and complete reports as needed.

· Observe client behavior and apply ABA principles.

· Seeking interventions for behavioral and developmental challenges.

· Educating clients and their parents in helpful activities.

· Provide feedback to Clients.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities who may also display challenging behaviors.
  • Must be self-motivated and a fast learner1
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory with experience.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
  • Must be able to clear DOJ/FBI background check
  • Have computer skills and the ability to generate reports using Office 365.

The people we support are in schools, residential homes, may have forensic issues, and are can be from all levels on the spectrum and disability. By identifying needs and function, we are able to promote positive outcomes. Communication A to Z started out more than 14 years ago and as we continue to grow, we are looking to infuse new ideas and strong supportive group of people that that have the same passion, drive and motivation to get out there each day and make a change in someone's life.
