Commercial HVAC

Growing construction company is seeking motivated and experienced HVAC mechanics to join our team. We’re excited to be named as one of Jacksonville’s best places to work thanks to our incredible employees. We would like to continue to grow this culture as we add an MEP division to our team. Candidates should have experience troubleshooting skills in a variety of situations, handling, installing, and repairing HVAC equipment. This individual(s) will be responsible for all aspects of the installation process on our commercial projects.  

Responsibilities:

  • Experience with commercial grade HVAC installation.
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial properties.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals to understand scope of work.
  • Ensures all work performed adheres to safety standards, building codes and regulations.
  • Assisting superintendent and project management team with planning, layout, and installation.
  • Strong work ethic that can manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with project management team and field team.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. 

Position requires:

  • Proficient in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • 2+ years’ experience as an HVAC mechanic
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with tools, measuring instruments, heavy machinery, and electrical equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour.
