Job DescriptionJob Description

Our busy pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Clerk to assist our team in fulfilling the needs of our customers. Our ideal candidate enjoys multitasking and has a desire to help people. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides in-person and telephone reception

  • Receives and direct new and refill prescriptions for further processing

  • Assists pharmacy personnel with clerical functions

  • Operate cash register, pharmacy computer systems and other equipment accurately

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

​Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more of previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields

  • Prior Digital RX experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read, understand and transcribe pharmaceutical information

  • Good clerical ability and mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills
