Senior Conveyor Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Conveyor Systems Designer based in Novi, Michigan, who will focus on developing conveyor systems from scratch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete design and development of innovative automation machinery for material handling, using SolidWorks software to engineer all components from initial concept through to final production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design complete conveyor systems, including ALL mechanical components such as chain-driven live rollers, plastic belt conveyors, and chain conveyors.
  • Employ SolidWorks to engineer all parts and assemblies, ensuring precision and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with system integrators, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors to deliver customized and efficient material handling solutions.
  • Innovate and improve product designs continuously, focusing on enhancing functionality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Profound expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software, with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous conveyor design projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ground-up design and engineering of automation machinery and conveyor systems.
  • Excellent technical and mechanical design skills, with a thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes related to material handling equipment.
  • Ability to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business and client requirements.
