SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

ECA Educational Services (also known as ECA Science Kit Services) is a company that supplies kit-based instructional materials to school districts throughout the United States.

ECA is currently in an expansion mode with its main facility in Commerce Twp, Michigan and a specialized operation in Florida. ECA is an exciting company to work at with a close-knit administrative staff. Currently, ECA employees approximately 50 employees. This will expand to 60-65 employees during the upcoming year. .

We are seeking to hire a full-time Senior Bookkeeper. Our current bookkeeper is retiring after 24 years of services, and we are seeking to hire her replacement. Currently, we employ a data entry assistant to support the Senior Bookkeeper and will be hiring additional bookkeeping assistant as necessary to support our company’s growth.

Senior Bookkeeper Job Duties: Current Accounting software: QuickBooks Enterprise

• · Accounts Payable
• · Accounts Receivable
• · Invoicing
• · Payroll (QuickBooks Payroll)
• · Interact with company’s Accounting Firm (Wipfli formerly Clayton-Mckervey)

Experience and Knowledge:

• · Previous experience as a bookkeeper or similar position
• Knowledge of Accrual Bookkeeping Practices
• · Knowledge of financial statements, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• · Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Outlook and experience with basic database systems.

Compensation:
