Director of Nursing needed to support hospital system in Chamberlain,SD.  '...This role oversees all of nursing and participates in patient care. The majority of patients seen are ER, Med Surg, OB, and Critical Care. Telehealth is also a focus, due to the rural community they serve.The hospital gets 5000 ER visits a year..  For OR: Schedule Surgeries happen on Monday and Tuesday. The on call surgery team typically only performs C-sections, when needed 24/7. On Call: The clinical nursing leaders take turns taking call, along with the DON in a rotation. This shared call model helps to ensure the DON is not fielding questions, or working 24/7, 365 days a year and has work-life balance...'
