Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time Autism Therapist (RBT) to join our team. As an Autism Therapist, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention programs, collecting data, and providing direct support to our clients with autism. Your passion for helping individuals with special needs and your commitment to fostering positive change will be vital in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention programs for clients.
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Implement behavior reduction plans and skill acquisition programs outlined by the BCBA.
  • Collect accurate and reliable data during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and discuss client progress.
  • Maintain professional and open communication with clients' families and team members.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards when working with clients.

Requirements:

  • Must hold or work to obtain a valid and current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Must have a vehicle and pass a background check and have a clear driving record.
