Commercial Construction Electrical Project Manager, and Commercial Electrical Superintendents
Austin, TX 78746

Due to strategically planned growth, we are seeking to hire Commercial Construction Electrical Project Managers, and Commercial Electrical Superintendents

PROJECT MANAGER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of extensive Commercial Electrical Contractor or Commercial Solar experience with Commercial trade-specific contracting, constructing design, finance, and management
  • 2+ years of electrical contractor construction Project Management experience required

 
SUPERINTENDENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of extensive Commercial Electrical Contractor or Commercial Solar experience is required
  • 2+ years of electrical contractor construction Superintendent experience required

 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Coordination & Safety
  • Maintain safety standards; monitor safety planning, execution and documentation on assigned project
  • Manage project planning, develop and execute the pre-job plan, and determine the construction techniques to be used to construct the project
  • Develop and maintain the Site Utilization Plan
  • Lead development of a detailed initial CPM Schedule, CPM Schedule updates and narratives, and CPM fragments with changes and delays
  • Review equipment requirements with the Project Manager
  • Review monthly sub pay apps to ensure progress in line with actual work installed
  • Coordinate, schedule and manage all subcontractors and vendors; conduct weekly Subcontractor Coordination meetings with all onsite, or soon to be onsite, subcontractor supervision
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records
  • Plan, staff and manage self-performance activities
  • Review weekly labor reports and monthly total job cost reports carefully to determine areas needing special attention, and initiate changes and procedures to bring costs back into budget
  • Establish and manage Quality Control Program including QA/QC processes
  • Comply with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, SOS, weekly unit reports, weekly updates to the two week look-ahead and monthly updates to the construction schedule

 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, and/or 7-10 years of applicable field leadership experience
  • 1+ years solar construction experience (preferred)
  • Self-perform construction management experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience working with Project Management team including successful completion of projects of all sizes
  • Demonstrated track record of successful delivery of projects
  • OSHA 30 (must be completed within first 6 months of employment)

 
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, purchasing
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Impeccable organizational / time Management skills and attention to Detail are a must.
  • Supervisory skills
  • Demonstrated experience of operating safe job sites
  • Possess a current driving license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Base pay will be set according to experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
