We are currently seeking a candidate for:

• Position: Electrical Technology Engineer, Innovation

• Location: Dayton, OH

Position Summary:

As Electrical Technology Engineer at DRT, you will report to Electrical Manager with primary focus on integration of new to market software and data technology to drive high-speed conversion system innovation with secondary support of the development, installation and troubleshooting of electrical controls and operational systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop execution plan to align with business strategy related to system/data advancements.

• Drive continuous improvement through technology and systems to effect change by proactively presenting leadership with new ideations around technology and data integration/extraction.

• Assist in the development, build, implementation, and support of electronic system architectures including technical infrastructure, hardware and firmware interfaces, configuration management, and system components.

• Debug and test embedded systems using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.

• Design and qualify new designs to applicable regulatory standards such as UL, CEC, CE, and ANSI.

Minimum Requirements:

Broad training in machine design usually acquired through college degree level education, engineering degree or work[1]related experience. Experience with machine interfaces and controls Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or similar Engineering Education

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.), or work experience with high-speed progressive die design.
