Accountants One has an international client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to be responsible for the day-to-day operations, preparing Financial statements, managing complex cost accounting ledger, preparing and monitoring financial forecasts and budget, responsible for internal control policies, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • NetSuite configuration and integration with our complementary finance software stack
  • Continuously work to improve processes with high levels of automation and standardization
  • Strive for the highest standards in finance and accounting processes
  • Together with FP&A, set up profitability reporting based on products and geography
  • Drive and set global standards for accounting and reporting for Software companies to allow for easier integration of acquisitions
  • Work to set up a shared service center that can act as an accounting hub
  • Processes including but not limited to AR, AP, tax, payroll, cost accounting, transaction records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred; candidates must have passed all parts of CPA exams. An active license is not required
  • 8+ years of work experience in corporate finance. Experience in the SaaS software industry is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP / IFRS
  • ERP experience required. NetSuite experts strongly preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Complex cost accounting
  • Preferably a background in enterprise B2B SaaS
