Radiotherapy Medical Equipment company is hiring an Assistant Physicist to serve as an onsite representative at one of their partner healthcare campuses. The role entails educating oncology professionals on optimizing the utilization of their system. You will assist in daily operations of the Radiation Oncology department with a focus on Medical Physics leveraging your physics expertise to test, analyze, support and report out phenomena. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to participate in curriculum design and development of presentation materials to deliver training at our learning center.

Responsibilities
- Conduct physics experiments aligned with projects associated with the system.
- Perform research to support company projects and apply basic physics principles, theories, and concepts to solve routine problems.
- Assist in departmental ALARA implementations.
- Provide clinical instruction in radiation therapy physics using the system.
- Produce documentation and training materials to both Oncology Customers (Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, and Radiation Therapists) and employee training programs.
- Assist in Acceptance testing and commissioning of system.
- Assist with calibration of dose and radiation equipment.
Qualifications
- MS in Physics, Health Physics, Medical Physics, Mathematics
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiation/oncology therapy field; internship experience is also welcomed.
