As a Temporary Full-time Detox Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to facilitate safe and effective detoxification for our clients. You'll be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing empathetic support throughout the detox process. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to fostering a nurturing environment for recovery.

  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor clients closely for signs of withdrawal symptoms or adverse reactions, promptly addressing any concerns to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans and provide holistic support to clients.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client assessments, medication administration, and treatment progress.
  • Offer compassionate support and encouragement to clients during their detox journey, fostering a therapeutic environment conducive to healing and growth.

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New Mexico.

Previous experience in detoxification or substance abuse treatment preferred, but not required.

Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
