job title: Director of Ministry Operations

As Director of Ministry Operations, (DMO), of Next Chapter Church, (NCC), you will support ministry needs with the church and the outreach elements of Shawn Mitchell Ministries, (SMM) as deemed necessary. Oversees the elements necessary to impact the efficient running of ministry and support the health and growth of programs, as directed by the Senior Pastor. The DMO is specifically responsible for assisting the Senior Pastor with strategic planning, administrative needs, project management, and goal setting, and will lead the effective execution of these outcomes, as established by the Senior Pastor. The DMO will also support the administrative affairs of SMM, including marketing and other special projects. The position will start as part-time with the possibility to become full-time.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Executive and administrative support as deemed necessary
- Maintaining business and ministry confidence and discretion
- Stage Manager for Celebration Services and special events, as directed by the Senior Pastor
- Oversees the management, coordination, and maintenance of weekly set-up and tear- down
- Create content and management of NCC's social media platforms
- Handle complicated and confidential matters, as deemed necessary by the senior pastor
- Coordinate the preparation and production of presentations, proposals, and other documents
- Schedule and coordinate Senior Pastor's calls, meetings, events, messages, etc.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

- Experience in a Business or Church environment.
- Associate's degree or higher or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- Must have proven leadership, management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to maintain records and web-based reporting.
- Strong computer skills with high proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and
  Adobe products.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with no decrease in productivity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively to              small or large groups in private and public settings.
