Overview: We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy House Manager to oversee various aspects of maintaining and managing our household. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing household needs, including but not limited to overseeing contractors, caring for pets, managing household inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and oversee contractors and service providers coming to the house, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to satisfaction.

  2. Take care of the dogs, including feeding, walking, transporting, and scheduling vet appointments as needed.

  3. Maintain an updated inventory of wine and other household supplies, restocking as necessary, and preventing over-purchasing and waste.

  4. Regularly clean out the freezer and manage food inventory to prevent waste.

  5. Utilize the available household vehicle earmarked for household errands, dogs, and misc. household transportation needs.

  6. Take responsibility for the organization and maintenance of the household, ensuring everything is inventoried and accounted for.

  7. Work with other members supporting the household including but not limited to the homeowner’s personal/executive virtual assistant, house cleaner, etc.

  8. Perform other household duties and errands as required by homeowner.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  5. Reliability and trustworthiness are paramount.

  6. Willingness to undergo a background check.

  7. Local candidate within a 10-mile radius preferred.

As this position is currently part-time/hourly, scheduling flexibility is a key requirement for engagement.
