Litagation Paralegal

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a litigation paralegal to support their litigation practice in West Chester PA. Three years of previous paralegal experience in civil litigation with employment law experience is preferred. Come join our vibrant team at an expanding law firm.

Essential functions and job duties include:

• Review and file documents
• Handle Discovery
• Understand the role of electronically stored information (ESI) in the discovery process and be able to manage discovery involving ESI
• Identify relevant information, witnesses, third party documents and information to subpoena
• Prepare discovery, court papers and trial binders
• Prepare subpoenas, letters, public records request, and authorizations
• Work with preferred vendors for record retrieval, expert retention, depositions/court reporters, private investigators.
• Schedule depositions, client meetings, and witness interviews
• Prepare discovery requests, responses, and summaries of the same.
• Summarize various records (medical; employment; tax; educational; surveillance, etc.)
• Electronically file trial and appellate court papers
