THE BATTERY, located in vibrant Sparkman Wharf (downtown Tampa), offers its guests an exciting and palette-enticing dining experience with a concept that focuses on fine bourbon, exquisite wine, and elegant plates (think prime house-cut steak and seafood, house-made pasta, fresh oysters, elevated desserts). We are searching for a talented, passionate, dedicated, and experienced BAKERY SUPERVISOR to join our team and to oversee the production of our bakery operation. We're looking for top-tier talent from someone who has experience in higher-end/fine dining.
The ideal candidate is passionate about food and hospitality, dedicated to ensuring that only the highest-quality offerings leave the kitchen (every.single.time.), takes pride in being detail-oriented, clean, and organized, enjoys developing specials/featured flavors, is committed to honoring owner-implemented food and labor cost thresholds, and is a great team player.
Other Requirements/Qualifying Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a high-volume, professional bakery/kitchen setting (corporate experience is a bonus);
- Robust experience with cheesecake, custom cakes, and macarons;
- Unyielding dedication to quality and high-level execution;
- Commitment to top-level aesthetics for all bakery offerings;
- The ideal candidate has experience working with pasta;
- Weekend availability;
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; and
- Culinary Degree preferred.
