Coatings Hub by JON DON is currently looking for a Driver/Warehouse Associate for our Phoenix, AZ location. This candidate must have the ability to function well as part of a team. You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our customers efficiently.

 

The primary responsibility of the Driver/Warehouse Associate is to help meet the needs of our customers by delivering and picking up equipment and supplies in a timely, safe and courteous manner as well as organize, maintain, and operate an efficient space in our warehouse. This role must be able to operate and maneuver a pick-up truck with a trailer attached. Knowledge of the operation of a forklift is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

· Safely transport equipment and supplies to local customer in a timely, safe, and courteous manner

· Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, shop environment, and rules of the road

· Process, package and ship orders accurately

· Organize stocks and maintain inventory

· Inspect products for defects and damages

· Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments

· Organize warehouse space

· Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately

· Check, verify and fill customer invoices

· Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations

· Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

· Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

 

Requirements

 

Educational requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be over the age of 25.
  • Must have a driving record in good standing
  • Candidates must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Class C CDL
