Position Summary:
We are seeking a Display Engineer with hands-on experience in building prototypes, particularly with diode lasers, LCD, and LED displays. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, edge-lit illumination, and the design and implementation of display systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build prototypes of LCD and LED display systems, including edge-lit illumination setups.
- Work with diode lasers to integrate them into display prototypes.
- Develop and implement electrical systems, including LCD and LED drivers and power supplies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine display designs and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to display performance, driver circuits, and power supplies.
- Document designs, processes, and results to support the development of production-ready display systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building prototypes of LCD and LED displays.
- Strong understanding of diode lasers and their integration into display systems.
- Proficient in edge-lit illumination techniques.
- Solid background in electrical engineering, particularly in LCD and LED drivers and power supplies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with holographic display technology.
- Familiarity with optical design software and simulation tools.
