We are seeking a Director Of Nursing (DON) to join our team You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all nursing operations within the healthcare facility
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and assess patient health status, making appropriate adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to nursing practice
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage nursing budgets, including staffing levels and resource allocation
  • Stay current on advancements in medical technology, treatments, and best practices in nursing administration

Qualifications:

  • Previous nurse management experience, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and nursing practices
  • Excellent supervisory skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and address performance issues
  • Proficient in shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels for optimal patient care
  • Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
  • Attention to detail in documentation review to maintain accuracy and compliance
