Executive Pastor

Our church is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Executive Pastor to join our church community.  The ideal candidate will be a dedicated Christ follower, a spiritual leader and mentorow who can provide guidance and support to our congregation. The executive pastor is a member of the AL Pastoral Team and works alongside the team members to shape the culture of the church, communicate biblical truths, cast a clear vision, develops leader, and connect with the local and wider church community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Work with the pastoral team members to do sermon preparation, develop and lead worship services, including preaching of the Word.

- Provide pastoral care, biblical counseling, support to church members.

- Mentor and guide individuals in their spirituall journey

- Plan and organize church events and activities

- Manage conflicts within the congregation with grace and wisdom

- Communicate effectively with church staff, volunteers, and members

- Work with the Lead Pastor to oversee the administration and management of church operations, including bugeting, financial planning and permanagement in the Church office.

Required Skills:

- Pastoral Care experience

- Strong leadership abilities

- Proficient in mentoring individuals

- Public speaking skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Ability to communoicate effectively with diverse groups

- Conflict management skills

- Strong writing abilities for sermons and communication

- Computer literacy and ablility to learn and use microsoft office and database programs

- Video and Sound Media experience
