Duties / Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is to provide technical support in the development, writing, reviewing and formatting of training material and documents in support of the Military Intelligence Training Standard (MITS) program, the Army Training and Evaluation Program (ARTEP) program, and other requirements as directed. Also responsible for coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs), sources, and stakeholders to ensure documents and training material captures and expresses important trends, relationships and significant facts; and shall coordinate with proponents of all required documents to ensure the most current information is considered and inconsistencies are avoided. Responsible for writing and developing training material and documents using the Army writing style and according to governing policies, regulations, and manuals. Secondary responsibilities, as directed, provides senior level expertise in the design, development, application, and maintenance of operational environment scenarios at the US Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE). These scenarios train US Army intelligence Soldiers on integrating processes and continuing activities of the operations process with a focus on the Intelligence Warfighting Function across the strategic continuum (cooperation, competition, crisis, and conflict) and All-Domain Operations. Intelligence processes include Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB), Targeting, Information Collection, Security Operations, and Risk Management. Conduct problem and needs analysis; design and develop, produce, and deliver exercise materials and special products related to scenario development projects for USAICoE and FORSCOM organizations. Provide support and assistance to the scenario team(s), present technical and exercise briefings to USAICoE and FORSCOM personnel as required, liaison with external organizations and stakeholders to ensure overall success of developed exercises and accept and provide recommendations to USAICoE, TRADOC, and FORSCOM personnel. Answer requests for information as required. Works with minimum supervision and interacts with the customer. 

  • Perform training systems and learning platform analyses, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). 

  • Provides subject matter expertise to management and technical personnel on areas of expertise pertaining to mission and technical operations.    

  • Supports program staff as required and ensure customer requirements and expectations are met. 

  • Provides support at technical meetings and prepare reports, as required.  

  • Assists in the preparation and presentation of briefings; provides programmatic and technical support and assistance to the USAICOE Directorate of Training, and others as directed.  

  • Assist with other HTASC requirements, as directed. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a current TS/SCI Clearance 

  • Human Intelligence (HUMINT) training and certification required 

  • Served no less than six (6) years a military intelligence officer, senior Non-Commissioned Officer, or senior Warrant Officer with experience writing and developing technical documents in accordance with USAICoE, Army, and DOD writing standards 

  • Able to develop and write technical documents utilizing the preferred Army writing style in the active voice and according to governing regulations. 

  • Ability to gather, consolidate, and integrate numerous technical and administrative inputs from staff, professional, and technical personnel.  

  • Ability to conduct research, catalog relevant information, properly site material used and analyze collected information for use in development and writing of technical documents. 

Preferred Experience:

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification 

  • Familiar with using the U.S. Army Training Development Capability (TDC), Army Training Network (ATN), Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS).
