ollections Specialist needed in Thomasville, NC. This is a temp-to-perm position starting at $18/hr.

Hours: Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Credit & Collections Job Description

Credit:

  • Set up of new accounts in Fourth Shift ERP
  • Use credit rating agencies to grant credit limits within company guidelines
  • Send welcome letter to customer and notify sales rep
  • Complete credit references

Collections:

  • Monthly paper statements
  • Weekly email statements to select customers
  • Contact customers via email and phone for payment status and work out payment agreements
  • Special monitoring of large accounts and other accounts as required
  • Review of drop ship accounts and discrepancies
  • Weekly review of customers over their credit line
  • Daily review of shipments against credit line and AR balance
  • Daily review of payments made by credit hold customers to see if they can be taken off hold
  • Placement of accounts, primarily with FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association)
  • Work with FMCA and provide them information

Other:

  • Experience in the Credit and Collections field is required
  • Furniture experience is preferred
  • Must be able to use various computer programs – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent attendance is required
  • Pay will depend on experience
