Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with our healthcare providers and fellow staff to provide excellent care to our patients. We are looking for a team player who is highly motivated, punctual, innovative, and friendly. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities:
Cleaning and stocking exam rooms.
Greeting and escorting patients to their rooms.
Assisting providers with in-office procedures.
Acquiring prior authorization through patient insurance.
Calling in prescription medications.
Calling patients and informing of biopsy results.
Schedule surgeries.
Other medical assistant tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Medical Assistant licensure or certification is preferred, but not required.
Prior Medical Assistant experience is preferred, but not required.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to self-start.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong team player.
