Manufacturing Engineering

Relocation Package if needed:

Ladson, SC - Relocation package available - receive $10k on their second paycheck and 1.5 months in a fully equip hotel covered by the company. Pet-friendly accommodation is available.

Projects: Work on various defense projects as well as custom consumer goods.

MUST HAVE Qualifications:

  • Must have 4+ years of design experience.
  • Must have a 4-year degree (engineering preferred).
  • Must have door design experience.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred.
  • Must understand 3D modeling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for breaking down high-level drawings and models to piece mark drawings, adding material, symbols, call outs, etc.
  • Interpret customer drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met.
  • Assemble, prepare, and support job packets through production.
  • Support planning, prototype hardware fabrication, and the assembly processes for current and new programs.
  • Identify, quantify, and procure materials.
  • Manage the successful transition of new products and technology into the production arena.
  • Assist with resolving any engineering issues that could interrupt programs or delivery schedules.
  • Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews.
  • Provide a technical interface with customers, including the U.S. Government and others.
  • Utilize manufacturing engineering practices, including writing routings and manufacturing instructions.
  • Design and procure tools/equipment.
  • Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
