Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team on an immediate temporary basis, with the possibility of permanent hire in the near future. As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely verification of insurance coverage for our patients. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical coding and terminology will be essential in this role. If you have a strong background in insurance verification and enjoy working in a fast-paced medical office environment, we would love to hear from you. Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00PM. $20-22/hour. Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Review and interpret insurance policies and guidelines
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain necessary information
- Update patient records with accurate insurance information
- Collaborate with medical billing team to resolve any insurance-related issues
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
