We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our medical team. The Medical Scribe plays a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by accurately transcribing patient records, medical histories, and clinical data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with experience in medical documentation and office settings and fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, accurate, and timely documentation of patient interactions and medical procedures
  • Review and edit medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather information for medical records
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to input data and maintain patient records
  • Assist with medical office operations and support administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with medical records and documentation standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers

Skills

  • Proficiency in medical transcription and documentation
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Experience working in a medical office or hospital setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex medical information
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Spanish fluency preferred
