Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Delaware, OH

 

Primary Functions:

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.

 

Primarily Work directly with all areas of the Engineering Department to ensure that projects are timely and accurately completed. Other duties would include working with other departments such as project engineer, quality and production to communicate objectives and how to properly complete projects. Ensure that the organizational culture of the company is being followed.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
  • Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
  • Program and touch up on robots - FANUC, MOTORMAN, ABB and ensure integration is completed in new projects
  • Work on process improvement on our injection molding lines
  • Data analysis to improve efficiency

 

Qualifications/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Robot programming
  • Understand chemistry
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
