Job Description: Dining Room Assistant

Location: St. Augustine Beach, Florida

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Dining Room Assistant to join our team. As a Dining Room Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our front-of-house operations, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service throughout the dining experience, anticipating guest needs and ensuring their comfort. Assisting servers and tending to customer complaints when needed. 

  • Table Maintenance: Set up tables with utensils and napkins before service. Clear and reset tables promptly between guests to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.

  • Assistance to Servers: Support servers by delivering food and beverages to tables, refilling drinks, and assisting with any additional requests from guests.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate guest orders and maintain a smooth flow of operations.

  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness of the dining room area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surrounding areas when needed. Ensure all dining room supplies are stocked and readily available.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
