Looking for a Patient Registrar.

Contract: 13 Weeks with possible extension

Shift: Overnight 11pm-7am

Pay: $18/hr. - $20/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and redirect calls to the appropriate individual.
  • Greet patients.
  • Record patient information.
  • Digitize patient information.
  • Collect patient payment information and check that it is valid.
  • Validate medical insurance coverage.
  • File patient records.

Requirement:

  • 6-9 months of health care experience to become familiar with the preferred institutional policies and procedures.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the department and patients.
  • Knowledge of keyboard and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, problem solve, use proper judgment in difficult situations, and be flexible.
  • Sufficient oral and writing skills in the English language to communicate effectively.6
