About Us: At KLW Cut N Styles, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hair care services in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to providing clients with personalized experiences and the latest in hair trends and techniques. We are currently seeking a talented and licensed hairstylist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Licensed Hairstylist at KLW Cut N Styles, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality hair services to our valued clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical expertise, and passion for hairstyling in a supportive and client-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Consultation: Engage with clients to discuss their hair care needs, preferences, and desired styles. Offer expert recommendations and personalized advice.
  2. Cutting and Styling: Perform haircuts, trims, and various styling techniques to meet clients' needs and preferences. Stay current with the latest trends and techniques.
  3. Coloring and Chemical Treatments: Apply hair color, highlights, lowlights, and other color techniques. Administer chemical treatments such as perms and relaxers while ensuring hair health and safety.
  4. Hair Treatments: Provide deep conditioning, scalp treatments, and other services to improve hair health and address specific concerns.
  5. Product Knowledge: Recommend and apply hair care products suited to individual clients' hair types and conditions. Educate clients on proper hair care routines.
  6. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service with a focus on client satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor to ensure a pleasant salon experience.
  7. Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized. Follow salon protocols for sanitation and safety.

Qualifications:

  1. Licensing: Valid cosmetology license in South Carolina.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as a hairstylist, with a portfolio showcasing your skills and versatility.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in cutting, coloring, and styling techniques. Strong knowledge of hair care products and treatments.
  4. Personal Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about the hairstyling industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Education: Completion of a state-approved cosmetology program.
