Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Foundry Machine Operator / Die Cast Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating die casting machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of die casting processes, excellent mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare die casting machines for operation
  • Monitor machines during production to ensure proper functioning
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve desired product specifications
  • Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a die cast operator or similar role in a foundry setting
  • Knowledge of die casting machines, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
