Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90033
Position: LVN - Multiple Specialty Clinics
Orientation: August & September start dates
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts. Shifts available between the hours of 7am to 7:30pm.
Compensation: $35-$36/hour, paid weekly
Benefits: Eligible after 60 days
Contract: 13-week contract with auto-renewal options
Overview:
Join our team at CCWSG as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and be part of an exciting opportunity to work in multiple specialty clinics in downtown Los Angeles. This is your chance to gain invaluable experience while collaborating with top healthcare professionals in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Review patients' records to determine the purpose of the visit and assess the readiness of charts, x-rays, or lab test results.
- Set up examination areas for physicians by organizing supplies, equipment, and patient charts.
- Observe patients to evaluate their condition and identify the need for immediate physician referral.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including administering medications and immunizations.
- Assist physicians during treatments and procedures by handing instruments and providing support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Vocational Nursing License (LVN) in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an LVN.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
- IV/Blood Withdrawal certification preferred.
