Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client, a leading bath product retailer, is seeking an energetic Product Development Coordinator to join their team This role involves coordinating the development of prototype products and monitoring the overall development process for a product line. The individual will act as a point person on development details with vendor partners.

Details:

  • Location: Water Street, New York City
  • Hybrid
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • 6 month W2 Contract with potential to extend or convert
  • Pay: $29-34/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of prototype products and monitor the overall development process for the product line.
  • Act as the point person on development details with vendor partners.
  • Create and update seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
  • Coordinate the workflow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising teams.
  • Track development to assure execution is within timeframes.
  • Communicate design development details.
  • Report to the Product Development Manager.
  • No direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of product design/development experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Background in product development.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Excitement for the brand.
