Job Title: Interior Designer

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in leading our projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating inspiring spaces that resonate with our clients' vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead interior design projects from initial concept development through final execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives, and translate them into beautiful and functional design solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clear understanding and alignment throughout the design process.
  • Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with project requirements, budgetary constraints, and design aesthetics.
  • Create comprehensive design presentations, including mood boards, renderings, and material samples, to effectively communicate design concepts and proposals to clients.
  • Develop detailed interior elevations, floor plans, and construction documents using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
  • Source and establish relationships with new trade partners, vendors, and suppliers to expand our network of resources and enhance project offerings.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to stay on top of emerging trends, products, and best practices in interior design.
  • Work collaboratively with the project management team to plan and coordinate design activities, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to interior design projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited institution.
  • NCIDQ certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of leading successful projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current trends, materials, and techniques in interior design, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude, with a willingness to embrace challenges and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
