Job DescriptionJob Description

A Medical Device client in Orange County is looking to identify and hire a Packaging Technician on a contract basis. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, and the candidate must be available to start ASAP.

 

The Packaging Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Dimensional Measurement of Lens Layer Thickness.
  • Tyvek Pouching and Pre-Sterilization Packaging.
  • Label Production.
  • Foil Sorting & Pouching of Lenses.
  • Final Lens Assembly & Packaging.
  • Insertion Device Processing, Packaging & Sterilization.
  • Kitting Accessories (Pouching, Forming Boxes, Assembling Kits).
  • Labeling, Assembly & Packaging Accessories.
  • ERP system work order data entry and closure.
  • Training of manufacturing personnel on packaging processes.

 

Requirements:

  • 1 year of packaging experience.
  • Comfortable meeting daily targets.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written formats, as well as excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
