Groundskeeper

Schedule: Full-time, shifts include 7:30am to 3:30pm or 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Open availability required.

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of outdoor areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns.
2. Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
3. Sweep, clean, and remove debris from sidewalks, parking lots, and other outdoor areas.
4. Inspect outdoor facilities and equipment for damage and report any issues to management.
5. Assist with snow removal during winter months using shovels, snow blowers, or other equipment.
6. Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
7. Follow safety protocols and use protective gear when handling chemicals, equipment, or performing hazardous tasks.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
2. Ability to work full-time hours, including shifts that may vary between 7:30am to 3:30pm or 1:30pm to 10:00pm.
3. Open availability to work weekends. 
4. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
6. Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and maintenance procedures.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
