Engineering CAD Technician

Engineering CAD Technician Position Summary:

Supports the Engineering Department through performing activities to provide information for the construction of engineering prototype marine accessories.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Uses SolidWorks to create 3D modeling and technical drawings

• Assists in the accumulation of data for manufacturing, such as drawings, BOM’s, ECN’s, and sign off sheets.

• Proto Book creation, review and updating.

• Organizing and filing of CAD files.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• High school degree with documented courses in SolidWorks and AutoCAD required / Associates of Science in Engineering preferred.

• 4 years’ experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point required.

• Two to four years’ experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.

Compensation starting at $23hr with upward flexibility dependent upon skillset
