Busy Contractor looking for full time skilled residential carpenter to do work in Union and surrounding counties. We do new construction, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements and decks. Ideal candidate will have experience in rough framing, understanding blueprints, working with various power and hand tools. The position requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities: (Frame Work) construct the frame work of new residential homes and additions, including walls, floors, and roofs following plans. Measure cut and assemble wood or metal framework ensuring structural integrity and compliance with building codes. Know proper use of power and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of carpentry and tools ability to interpret blueprints and plans. Safety-Oriented commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment. Good verbal communication skills to work effectively with other trades such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians and supervisors. Ability to perform physical task such as moving materials, lifting and working in various weather conditions. Must have valid driver license and reliable transportation
