Job DescriptionJob Description

A box truck driver is needed:

 

General Logistics System Corp is looking for Box Truck Driver to join our new company, job location is in Chicago IL, zip code 60491. You must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Your job duties will include loading and unloading delivery items, operating a box truck, and cleaning and maintaining equipment. Experience with a sit-down forklift is required. Our customers expect their products to arrive within a specific time frame, so you need to be able to work independently and manage your time well.

 

Box Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Drive a truck (hydraulic brake), delivery on a predetermined route and schedule.

• Deliver or pick up items as instructed Load and unload the vehicle as needed.

• Document deliveries or record other shipment information and follow DOT regulations.

 

Box Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

 

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• At least 21 years of age

• Be able to work independently and lift up to 75 pounds.

• Must pass a background check

• Excellent communication skills

• Trucking or warehouse expertise is a plus

• Bilingual is a plus, in order to communicate with customers.

 

Pay:

• $22 per hour

• Weekly Pay

• Job performance will be analyzed to qualify for bonuses.

 

Schedule will vary from 8am to finish, with weekend availability if needed.
