Accudyn Products, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Technician to join our team. We provide a high-energy environment with a culture that supports individual growth & opportunities. We are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills who, with attention to detail, can work in a team environment to help deliver a quality product to our customers.

**1st Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.**

Summary: Perform the job function in compliance with our internal ISO policies, procedures, work instructions, and our external customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Electronically receive incoming UPS shipments to non-inventory and inventory. Deliver items to the correct recipient.
  • Prepare outgoing UPS shipments, ensuring the packaging is adequate to preserve the parts and/or product.
  • Gather components, funnage, etc. for outsource shipments including product labels. Generate a manual packing slip for the transaction of the product.
  • Prepare external shipments in accordance with the customer’s requirements in regards to packaging and securing the load to the skid. Prepare and attach “Master Labels”, where applicable, to the skid and electronically prepare the packing slip for the shipment.
  • Verify “Bill of Lading” to ensure information is accurate, attach packing slip and place B.O.L. on the skid in preparation for the shipment.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and “5S’s” in the warehouse area.
  • May be assigned special projects or investigations as directed by management.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School education

Language Skills

  • While on the job, employee must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers, superiors, and subordinates verbally and in writing.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to apply basic algebra skills

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems that arise on the job.

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills- with proper instruction

Other Qualifications

  • Employee should be goal oriented and a team player with self-motivation.
  • Ability to make decisions on their own.
  • Performs functional responsibilities with little to no supervision
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with coworkers and management both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently.

Work Environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud due the running the machines and trucks.
  • Protective eye wear is necessary in designated areas.
