Position Summary:

We are actively seeking a skilled and reliable Staff Pharmacist to join our specialty pharmacy team in New York, NY. This PRN role requires working every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be a conscientious and meticulous pharmacist who is ready to support our pharmacy operations regularly.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute tasks as directed by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and support staff.
  • Ensure adherence to all professional guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle all aspects of medication dispensing.
  • Process and verify prescription orders based on practitioner instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Pharmacist license with a clean record.
  • Experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy is necessary.
  • Familiarity with PioneerRx is preferred but not required.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.

Working Environment:

  • Requires standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity needed for continuous tasks.
