Global Service Engineer – Installation and Customer Support

Direct Hire - Troy Michigan - 50% Travel

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to perform installations, startups, commissioning, and repairs of equipment at customer locations globally. If you have a passion for world travel and excel in resolving customer issues, we encourage you to learn more about this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installations, startup procedures, commissioning, and maintenance of products at customer sites; includes performing in-house repairs of defective equipment.
  • Offer technical assistance to customers and internal departments, assisting with parts inquiries, technical questions, and Requests for Quotation.
  • Prepare detailed Field Service Reports for customer invoicing, addressing warranty claims, labor, and material changes, and policy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams by providing redlined drawings and updates necessary for implementing field changes.
  • Develop factory and On-Site Acceptance Documents and Procedures, execute these procedures, and analyze data from these procedures to confirm design specifications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Autonomous worker, capable of operating with minimal or no supervision.
