Job DescriptionJob Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Junior Engineer with knowledge of RFI tracking and construction contract documents. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Construction Management, Engineering solutions company located on-site in Albany NY. Compensation: Min: $48,000 - Max: $60,000

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project control activities including project document management, RFI and IB tracking, contract document review
  • Assist in changes to scope, prepare estimates and negotiate new project scope
  • Perform walkthroughs with contractor as needed
  • Assist with monitoring contract implementation, quality of work and materials
  • Inspect task execution in accordance with the plans and specifications
  • Maintain weekly and monthly project work plans for scope, budget, schedule, and safety objectives
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes

Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years of experience on smaller projects valued above $1 million
  • Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract documents, scheduling, payments review
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and scheduling applications
