Telehealth Clinical Therapist

The Telehealth Clinical Therapist is responsible for conducting
evaluations, assessments, individual, and group counseling sessions,
for clients. The therapist will collaborate with the client to develop,
implement, and revise individualized service plans, maintain required
documentation, and collaborate with the treatment team to provide
trauma-informed clinical care. The Clinician will work under the general
supervision of the Clinical Director and Clinical Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide diagnostic mental health evaluations and assessments;
interviewing Clients for admission; assessing the need for on-going
treatment or referral to other agencies; Provide individual, group, and
family counseling;
• Provide crisis intervention as needed;
• Collaborate with Client to develop, implement, and revise
individualized treatment/service plans;
• Integrate Motivational Enhancement Therapy into all aspects of counseling;
• Communicate with families, probation/parole officers, and
community agencies regarding treatment, discharge, and aftercare plans;
• Maintain all required clinical documentation, ensuring client
confidentiality, in accordance with agency standards;
• Attend treatment team meetings, community correctional program staff
meetings, and clinical staff meetings;
• Attend training sessions for the purpose of upgrading skills and
obtaining or maintaining counselor certification and licensure;
• Collaborate with peer mentors;
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Treatment Team,
Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling,
counseling psychology, or a related field; or gathering internship hours.
• Two years direct clinical experience
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment models
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
• Licensed clinician in respective discipline: LCSW, LPC, LMFT,
LAC, Psychologist;
• Certified Addictions Counselor II (CAC II), CAC III preferred;
• Experience providing substance abuse treatment to adult offenders;
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
