Independent locally-owned full-service restaurant is seeking a strong leader in either an Executive Chef or hybrid Chef/GM role.  Job responsibilities will depend upon the strengths of the candidate and how their experience might complement the existing management staff.

Located in downtown Hollister, CA, our restaurant serves over 8,500 guests per month with 224 total seats, a full bar, and outdoor dining.  With a 20 year history of serving our community, ours is a strong brand much beloved in Hollister.  With new management will come an opportunity to define our restaurant for the next 20 years.

Our ideal candidate will possess verifiable restaurant experience to include working in and preferably managing a full service restaurant kitchen with a busy cook line, extensive prep operations, and significant supplies logistics.  Note that the ability to manage the kitchen is our primary evaluative criteria.  But added to that, the ability to drive our menu as it changes with the seasons and oversee a top-notch dining room operation will affect the value of the candidate and subsequent salary.

In short, we’re looking for a dynamic and energetic leader.  For the right kind of motivated person, we can tailor the job somewhat to fit the candidate and provide a path for future growth and advancement.
