Journeyman Plumber

Bluedrop solves water quality issues for Residential and Commercial clients with the design and installation of water purification equipment. We are seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our growing installation team

Our ideal candidate is personable, service-oriented and has great communication skills. Our customers deserve prompt attention and careful follow through. This position is eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts Journeyman plumber license and be interested in an exciting new challenge. Water filtration experience is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site surveys and installation planning
  • Install Bluedrop equipment including water filtration systems, water softeners and reverse osmosis systems
  • Collaborate with Bluedrop operations, service, and sales teams
  • Maintain company vehicle according to policy and procedures
  • Following through on our customer commitments
  • Ensure the management, maintenance, and security of company assets including inventory, equipment, vehicles, and machinery
  • Assist with training other members of the team
  • Safety must be a #1 priority to keep injury free and compliant with regulations and company safety policies
  • Support growth and development within your division through mentorship, training, and exposure to other services and business functions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Pass pre-employment background check
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to read and follow plumbing and electrical schematics
  • Ability to lift up to (60) lbs.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Must have a MA State Journeyman Plumbers License
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • A HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience
