Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Personnel

Location: Ennis, TX

Reporting to: Operations Manager

 

Essential Functions

The function of Shipping & Receiving Personnel is to load/unload trucks and verify that the material being shipped or received corresponds to the shipping documents. They also coordinate and move pipe to and from process areas as necessary to avoid interruptions in production. S&R Personnel report to the Operations Manager and exercise authority over no other employee. Must be capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.

 

Role and Responsibilities

Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

1. Report to work on time and clock in/out at the beginning and end of the shift.

2. Adhere to company safety, environmental, quality and personnel policies.

3. Keep all documentation in a clean and legible condition.

4. Sign-off on Work Order, Router form, and any other documentation as required by Benoit SOP.

5. Operate forklifts in a safe manner according to proper handling procedures.

6. Coordinate with other Shipping & Receiving Personnel to load or unload trucks on schedule.

7. Perform maintenance on equipment as required.

8. Accurately tally and document tubing lengths prior to loadout.

9. Package finished goods for shipping, according to Benoit SOP.

10. Maintain yard and storage rack areas in a clean and safe condition

11. Ensure that the company's products conform to all applicable requirements.

12. Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

 

Candidate’s minimum skills and experiences.

Qualifications:

· Must be a High School graduate

· Must pass a Company physical

· Must be familiar with truck loading and unloading procedures

· Must be able to communicate effectively

· Must be capable of passing a standard Color Blindness Test

· Must read and sign-off to required Benoit SOPs

· Must complete additional training deemed necessary by the department manager
